Chocolate Slice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice puffs

  • 1 cup chopped nuts of choice

  • 3/4  cup quinoa puffs

  • 3/4 cup moist coconut flakes

  • 1/2 cup medjool dates +/- handful mini marshmallows 

  • 1 cup dark chocolate 

  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil

  • Freeze dried raspberry to serve 

Method

  • Line a 20 x 20 cm baking pan with baking paper, allowing the long sides to overhang. 

  • Combine the nuts, rice puffs, quinoa puffs and corn flake in a large bowl. Add the finely chopped dates and mix well.

  • Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a saucepan.

  • Pour melted chocolate mix into the date, nuts, rice puffs, quinoa puffs and corn flake mix, stir until well combined.

  •  Tip contents into the baking pan and use the back of a metal spoon to press mixture into the pan. Even out. Freeze for 20-30 mins. 

  • Remove from freezer, slice and serve!
