Overnight Oats
Ingredients
The foundation
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup milk of choice
1-2 Tbsp yogurt of choice
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
The good stuff
(choose your toppings)
¼ teaspoon vanilla
1 tsp jam
1 tsp peanut butter/Nutella
¼ cup strawberries/banana/apple
1 Tbsp nuts (peanuts/hazelnuts/almonds)
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 Tbsp Choc chips or coconut
Method
Place all ingredients into a medium sized container and mix until combined.
Cover the container with a lid. Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight. Toppings can be added the night before or immediately before serving.
Enjoy straight from the container the next day!
TIP: My favourite things about overnight oats is that you can make the night before to save any meal prep in the morning, especially on a busy Monday morning!
